Is it possible to mark pads as press-fit holes? As far as I know there is no pad attribute “pressfit” in KICAD 9. Is the pad attribute exported to ODB++? Thank you…
I’m not sure about pad attributes in KiCad V9. If that does not work out, then as a work around you can use a special drill diameter for these pad, and then talk to your PCB manufacturer for the special requirements for these pads. In general press-fit requires a narrower tolerance, so it’s a good idea to contact your PCB manufacturer beforehand for things like this.
that’s what I do. I just write a list of all connectors that are press-fit into the order form
