Presets/Viewports do not save/restore Objects visibility

Neither presets nor viewports save or restore object visibility. Is this behavior expected, or should one of them also work with objects?

I would like to configure a Top/Bottom view where the visibility of the footprints on the front and back can be enabled or disabled based on these presets.

Application: KiCad PCB Editor x86_64 on x86_64
