I may have found a bug, please can someone else test to make sure it is not just my system.
A small project is attached.
Drag and select the two footprints on the pcb, then left click and move the footprints, all is ok.
Drag and select the whole design including the Dwgs.User lines and try to move the footprints. My system segfaults, every time with every project.
I dragged your stuff into a corner.
No trouble whatsoever.
Besides that you’ve got the weirdest KiCad version number I’ve ever seen.
V5.1.6 is two ticks behind from the current stable, and a “nightly” that is 4 months old?
When you’ve found a bug you should start by verifying if it’s still present in the latest version, especially when using “nightly’s”.

A small detail – “nightly” is a version of the feature development branch. The nightly build versions of the stable branch are called “testing” builds.
Very odd! I tried the nightlies a few months ago just out of interest before going back, as I thought to the latest version available on Xubuntu 20.04 which shows up in synaptic as 5.1.5.
Looking back at the boards I have designed over the past few months with a text editor, they have all been done unknowingly with this odd 5.1.6 version which was being started from /usr/bin/kicad, no idea how or why.
There are no problems now with either 5.1.5 or 5.1.8
