Possible bug in symbol editor

Hello!

I have found a strange problem when starting the symbol editor.
Note that when startup finishes, the editor works well, so it’s not a crucial problem.

Please see video. What happens is that the whole frame flickers for a while.
After clicking a few random spots on the screen (upper frame border, etc), the windows
becomes like any other and it starts working fine.

Do you have the same problem under XOrg?

Is KiCad the only application that has this?

You can open a bug report on Issues · KiCad / KiCad Source Code / kicad · GitLab but i doubt the KiCad team can do much about it, since i guess it is more likely on a layer below, like WX, window manager, Wayland, GPU driver, GPU, …
