Placing pads with equal distance apart

Hello All,

I just moved to KiCad lately. I am trying to create foot print for a barrier block but am unable to place pads in equal distance. I see vernier caliper used to measure distance but unable make a permanent line as a reference to place the next pad.

Any help would be appreciated.

There are a at least two options to achieve what you want.

  • Use the user grid
  • Use the array tool.
