Pinch to zoom on GNOME

Hi,
I’m back to Linux after a few years on macOS. I used KiCad quite a bit on the mac, but now on linux one feature is making the switch difficult. Specifically, the way the trackpad is handled is different on macOS and on Linux. Is there a way I can make them work the same?

I would like to at least be able to pan around by moving two fingers left and right (not dragging) and pinch to zoom (this works fine on firefox, so should work as well on KiCad).

How can I configure KiCad to get this behaviour?

BTW I’m on KiCad 7.0.8, Debian Sid, GNOME 44.5 (Wayland)

Thanks!

There is a setting for a trackpad in Preferences / Mouse and Touchpad

Oh thanks. “Pan left/right with horizontal movement” works perfectly. Pinch to zoom still does not though, pity. I suppose something specific to multitouch on Wayland needs to be implemented…
