I noticed that whenever the version changes, alignment issues occur, is it too much to ask that this not happen?
I noticed the contrary, all my old design were functional in every successive kicad version. No problem with changes from v6–>v7, then from v7–>v8 and also the switch to v9 (currently already available as release candidate) looks promising.
Admittedly I don’t use all available features and stick more to the conservative side. It’s more likely that problems occur if advanced features are used (because more specialized features are harder to test and find bugs).
If you experience problems in loading older designs this could be a bug. But for fixing such a bug the following things are needed:
- the information about the used kicad version (kicad v8 is available from 8.0.0 … to 8.0.8)
- a example project which shows the problem (referring to your post this would be a kicad v7 example project, which opens fine in v7, but opens nonfunctional in v8)
- someone who undertakes the work to open a good bugreport in gitlab
small sidenote: please be precise with your wording. Pads are used in the pcb-editor and the footprint editor. Your picture shows a unconnected pin from a symbol.
I guess it might be difficult to tell us now. But…were all schematic edits previously done on a 50 or 100 mil grid? (I am discussing pin placement. Of course text placement can be done on a smaller grid.)
This is a pin and label connection problem, not “pads”
To me it looks like the upper label is shifted to the left a little compared with the other.
Examining the label coordinates in the schematic text file will tell you if the label position is off grid

Is it to much to ask that people begin a thread without being rude ? at least until a bunch of volunteers of different nationalities and different engineering backgrounds can gather their thoughts and try to help ? I personally have had no alignment issues at all and that was from V4.9.0 or about then.

I no computer buff so it would have been a stable release, all I remember was struggling and cursing and even giving up a few times 
I couldn’t get on with the library at all. But I do remember very shortly after that V5.0.0 was released so I decided one more try and me and Kicad ‘clicked’ and it’s been a honeymoon period ever since 
but the clinical answer would be ‘The Internet’ 
A reply from the OP would be nice. They are in Brazil, so also maybe not English speaking.
What is unusual is dropping the label directly on the pin with no wire between.
