Pcbnew: where are magnetic pads settings gone?

Hi,

still struggeling to move from pre-KiCAD4 to KiCAD5.1.4 without accurate documentation available.

Pcbnew does by default no longer use magnetic pads when placing tracks.
Where do I find the menu to switch this on?
Preferences-General no longer exists in KiCAD5.1.5 and Preferences-Preferences Pcbnew does not show any magnetic pads controls.

Also, Pcbnew creates uncontrollable bends when placing tracks. Where can I switch this auto-bending off?

Please give me some hints, thanks!
