PCBNEW: Route/place components while viewing board from behind?

Is there a way to place components and route traces while viewing the board from behind so that the back layers are not mirrored and the front layers are mirrored?

I have a board that I’m designing that has many ICs on both the front and back. However, my brain is definitely not very good at un-mirroring the components on the back of the board when trying to read labels or think about component orientation/placement while comparing to a datasheet.

I have used KiCad for several years and I would also find the ability to look at the board from the back to be very useful feature.

Well, open a wishlist bug if there is none and post the links to it here so we could add our vote :wink:

It is mentioned in https://bugs.launchpad.net/kicad/+bug/1225032. I voted for that as I would love to quickly switch between display of top items and back items.
