PcbNew: Maintain clearance between ground trace and filled zone

Hi, I have a filled zone on the B.Cu for my ground plane. However I have some high current paths so I’d like to keep a clearance between ground tracks within the ground plane ie. to implement star grounding. Does anyone know if this is possible?

If the high-current paths cross through the filled zone, or even just touch it, then you must give one of them a different net name. E.g., call the high-current trace “Pwr_Return”, or call the ground-plane “Shield”, or create some other name(s) that make sense in your design. And someplace on the schematic you will have to place a connection between “Shield” (or “Pwr_Return”) and ground.

Great thanks a lot. I knew there’d be a workaround
