Looks like I’m reporting the same problem which was already answered there.

For reference,

Unable to select bitmap image

In KiCad 7, I inserted an image with the new Add bitmap image tool. After insertion it is no longer possible to select it to edit its properties. How to pick this image?

is the direct URL to the other thread where it’s claimed to be fixed in 7.0.11
