PCB Layout Place Image behavior - v7.0.0 vs 7.0.10

Hi again.

I noticed a change when I recently upgraded from v7.0.0 to 7.0.10.

In 7.0.0, placing an image in the PCB Layout allowed me to move the image around and resize it, at any time.

Now, I’m noticing that when I place an image in PCB editor, I have only one chance to resize and move it. Once I click away from it and move components to verify that I got the image size correct to match the standard footprints I’ve placed, I can no longer move or resize the image.

This upgrade also breaks some of my previous projects, where the images placed reverted back to their original size, and I’m unable to resize them. They are now either too big (or in another case, too small) to line up with the traces and footprints that I’ve placed.

So for now, I’m reverting to v7.0.0 so that I can get the image size to align with the components and traces that I’m drawing on a current reverse-engineering project.

Was this change intentional? Or is this perhaps a glitch?

Or perhaps there’s a new lock/unlock image setting somewhere that I’ve missed?

Thanks again everyone,
Best,
AJ

I think this is a bug in 7.0.10.

Thanks for linking the other post/quote from another thread.

Looks like I’m reporting the same problem which was already answered there.

For reference,

is the direct URL to the other thread where it’s claimed to be fixed in 7.0.11

Thanks, everyone!
Best,
AJ

7.0.0 has probably hundreds bugs that are already fixed.
I think better decision would be to revert to 7.0.9 or install V7 testing version.
