Not sure what happened. Maybe I inadvertenly hit a hotkey?

This is Locked Item Shadow. You can unlock your elements (L), or disable the shadow:

Thanks. I was messing around with locks. The outline of my enclosure is (obviously) all around my PCB and I locked it to avoid unwanted selection.
