PCB Editor - rotate footprint 45 deg?

I hereby certify that I am not simply asking someone else to design a footprint for me.

This is an auto-generated message that is in place on the “footprints” section of the KiCad.info forum. If I remove it and ask for a footprint to be designed anyway, I understand that I will be subject to forum members telling me to go design my own footprint or referring me to a 3rd party footprint site.

I thought I saw a rotate 45 someplace but can’t find it. Is there such a thing?

The rotate step is configured in Preferences->Footprint Editor->Editing options->Step for rotate commands. It is set to 90 per default and can be changed to any number. This rotation is for all rotate commands. If you want something else for a footprint, you can set an orientation in the footprint properties.

I designed a board…A few months ago I posted my design for a (bench supply from a notebook power adapter)…using 6.00. It has a double sided board with some jumpers at weird angles. See…this one is at 32 degrees. I have another one which is at 170 degrees.
BTW this is the first time I can ever remember designing and building a board using anything other than orthogonal components. But my weird angles really did help to get tracks under the jumpers more efficiently.
