Getting "The system cannot find the path specified error, since upgrading t the latest version. It happens when I select the Root or PSU items from the hierarchy. Draws the page before it happens. It seems not to cause a problem and the path is there. Is this a known problem or bug report time.
The g: drive is a google drive on windows.
Sounds like one of those mount on demand network drives. Maybe you should pre-mount it before you start work or something like that.
It is mounted at boot and the entire project was loaded from it!

Yeah KiCad doesn’t like cloud/network drives, so it’s recommended to work on a local drive.

Other than one beta build some years ago. I didn’t have a problem until this last upgrade.

I found your project at ERC Reports symbols do not match the library. (#19969) · Issues · KiCad / KiCad Source Code / kicad · GitLab but can’t reproduce on 9.0.2 with same paths with Google Drive on Win11.
Are you sure you sure your Windows and Google Drive client are up to date? Is your internet connection good?

This might be due to backups too.
That is likely to be an old one. I will upload a report. With current version.

Internet connection if fine, this has happened reliable over several days.
I’ve been running NordVPN for 12 months.
That is going to hurt your speed and latency for sure, what latency do you typically have ? Does Nord allow you to exclude applications from using it ?

It had been fine for over a year. Any the latest test build and the problem goes away. Didn’t occur with 9.0 either when tested by the devs.
Anyway, as it is Windows it would have been using the locally caches version. 18ms latency according to the test.
