@Rene_Poschl please consider posting this patch for me. I don’t like mailing lists since they expose my email and I try to avoid spam.
The mailing list itself exposes the address only to subscribers; the archives have the domain part crossed out.
That said, the commit itself would also include a name and email address, which we somewhat need to keep track of for copyright and licensing purposes (while US law allows copyright assignment, the Berne convention does not, only perpetual and sub-licensable licenses).
Consider making a new mail address for open source contributions and job offers resulting therefrom.

I also forfeit any ‘rights’ and defer permission to kicad devs to do what ever they wish with this patch.
