I tried to design an edge connector. but some pads are showing as not found in the footprint, even though they are already in the symbol.
In KiCad, “pad numbers” are alfa numeric strings. One of the reasons for this is that footprints like BGA’s use “chessboard” coordinates for numbering their balls / pads. As a result, “01” is a different pad number then “1”. And your footprint does not use the leading zero’s.
