Pads connect to planes but via won't

I just can’t get this to work… 4 layers sig, GND, power, sig. pads in ics etc connect with thermals to ground and power planes correctly. However vias don’t. see pic. what is wrong? I’m on v 8.07

Looks OK to me . . . try turning off all copper layers bar one, one at a time, to check properly.

What colors do you use that thermals at +12V looks being the same color as thermals at GND?

thanks all - I think my colours were confusing me! - with Kicad defaults I think its ok?

Look at the layers individually - it’s easier to see what is going on that way.

Tip: you don’t have to hide and show the layers individually. You can use “Dim” or “Hide” for Inactive layer visibility mode and just browse through the layers but activating one at a time.
