Please avoid using kicad-nightly-r27274.0bd3341f0f.. nightly builds with design, containing textboxes. It may lead to dataloss when editing content of existing textboxes or creating new ones!
Place textbox on schematic → Write some text → Click OK → Text (also already existing text) is gone.

There is no threat of general data loss, like corrupted netlist e.a., however.
Under certain conditions, text is replaced by blank text.
The nightly is safe to use if you do not touch the text boxes and even then only textboxes are affected.
