OSX template wizard seriously messed up

Hello everybody,

I’ve been struggling for some time trying to make kicad work right in OSX, and I’ve noticed that in version 4.0.3 and 4.0.4, the create project with template wizard is not working right. The different tabs won’t get the right folders (system, user and portable templates, that is) and they won’t read the actual folder even though explicitly selected through the browser. I’ve got it to read some templates after going back and forth from tabs and manually setting the routes but it’s a total mess. I think it must be something really simple to fix in code, and I’m somehow struck that nobody else has stated that bug.

Did you figure it out a way to get the template working despite the bug?

Kicad can never find the templates for me… even if I put them on the system folder…

setting the same folder for all 3 categories of templates eventually leads to some of the categories showing the templates (obviously bugged, but once you choose the template it works)
