One out of 67 "GND" symbols not accepted by ERC

Dear all,
I am a retired s/w engineer who slipped into hardware, and I am a total noob in this area, so I do apologize in case I ask stupid questions or breaks any forum rules I do not understand.

I have two ‘crossed’ op-amps to drive the gates on two P-fets, and the ERC moans about one of them - the ‘V-’ connected to ‘GND’ - telling me that ‘Input power pin not driven by output’.
The other one, same config, is considered OK.

I’ve tried all I could think of (and if I have had any hair I would probably teared it off by now.)

When I added the ‘PWR_FLAG’ to ‘GND’ the error goes away, but how come the other opamp can live a good life without it?

I have verified that it is truly ‘connected’.
I assumed that ‘GND’ was known as a ‘power input’ by default.
I will try to upload an image of the part of the schematic that misbehaves.

I have 6.0.11 on Ubuntu 20.04

Attempt to upload image:

Any hits would be appreciated.

The error message is just at a seemingly random place, it has nothing to do with that specific OpAmp. If there is already a error on the net, it will not be repeated for the other pins on the same net.
You can place the PWR_FLAG to any location where GND is, it doesn’t have to be near the OpAmp

Ah, bless you sir, thanks a lot!
I was about to loose it here…
Again, thanks!

Hello and welcome @Hans_Ringstrand

On a 50 mil grid this type of OP amp symbol will allow part C to fit with part A or B as such:

ksnip_20231012-233058

To avoid clutter, it is also possible to hide (untick visible box) the Ref & Value for Part C.

Also, Kicad is now upto 7.0.8 which has more features and fewer bugs (maybe) than 6.0.11

First thought - wouldn’t comparators be better?
But discussing it falls under:

If you are sure of your project - do nothing, if not - find electronic forum to ask about this solution (till now I didn’t found time to be at any electronic forum).
