One more -- how to increase the void around pads on the ground plane/fill side

Since everyone has been so very quick and helpful, one more simple question. Don’t over-think this

Since i am hand-soldering some prototypes, and likely re-working them, i want this to be gorilla-proof (me=gorilla). Basically i want: “hole, big pad, big void, ground plane fill” on the top.

I have not yet found how to adjust that void/reveal/whatever they call it.

Also, where can I tell it “don’t run any trace closer than 50 mils (or whatever) from another trace or pad”?

Again, many thanks.

OK, I’ll answer my own question for future users.

  1. Go to the layer the fill/ plane is on.
  2. select the fill
  3. Right click to select properties (or select properties however you do…)
  4. adjust clearance, spoke width, etc to your liking.

Rinse and repeat.
