Old Unused Footprints Still on PCB

KiCAD 7. I changed a component on the schematic from Switch A (Through Hole) to Switch B (SMD). When I go back to the PCB Layout and hit F8 to make the updates the new footprints for Switch B comes in but the old footprints for Switch A is still there.

Other than manually deleting the footprint for Switch A, is there a way to automatically scan for unused parts/footprints and syncronize the PCB to only what is in the latest schematic?

OK, I see how to do this now… You need to check the box for “Delete Footprints with no Symbols” when you run “Update Footprint from Schematic”. I’m going to leave this post as it may be useful for someone else.
