Not able to open footprint editor

EEschema and PCB editors open and work fine but when I try to open footprint editor it loads and the screen doesn’t show up. Wonder what’s the issue and how could I figure and fix it.

Does the footprint editor show up in the task manager and if yes is it shown in the taskbar? Do you see any window appear? If not is it possible it is placed outside the current screen area (on a no longer connected second screen for example)?

It does show up in task manager, but the window is not open in both of my screen. Any further idea to solve this ?

bump ! anyone? it’s a pain that I can’t work with KiCAD on my W10
