Nightly build users, Win: do you see selection clarifying highlight?

Those who use nightly builds on Windows and don’t follow bug tracker or new features actively:

Does the board item highlight when hovering over selection clarification menu items work for you? See https://bugs.launchpad.net/kicad/+bug/1594029. If it doesn’t work, you may not be aware of its existence at all, so read the bug report to know what feature it is if you don’t know yet.

And, of course, please attach your system information (it may depend on whoever knows, processor, graphics card, drivers, Win version… I have here an old 64bit Win7 with integrated Intel graphics and it doesn’t work for me).

If I’m understanding it correctly, if you say several objects overlapping (for example, a pad and a track) and you right click on that area and get selection clarification menu you should also see all the objects highlighted? If so, it doesn’t work for me either.

Just noticed that KiCad incorrectly detects my system. It is supposed to be Windows 10

This is probably a wx problem, we will have to see if there is a workaround for wx 3.0.3 on Windows. According to JP it works with wx 3.1

Thanks, and no need to answer here anymore. I hope a workaround is found, the feature is great.
