Todays Nightly is 800 MB in stead of the usual 100 MB.
This must be including the V5 libraries, a stab at RC2 perhaps?

I don’t think rc2 is near. Wayne typically makes a post on the mailing list a few days before such a release.
There is no such post.
I don’t know why this one nightly now includes libs.

Yea wayne should have answered his own post and told everyone that there are two major bugs which still need to be fixed before rc2 will be tagged. I have that information from this answer by wayne over at github: https://github.com/KiCad/kicad-symbols/issues/451#issuecomment-385954706
What i meant above: There is no new post that would indicate that the second attempt to get to rc2 is near.
