I was suggested this video by Google. This guy does a really nice overview of the currently suggested workflow for PCBNew, including adding parts and changing footprints while in the middle of layout. If anyone is looking for a quick and concise video either for themselves or someone you are helping to get to grips with PCBNew, this would be a good video to review.
This guy has other videos (he mentions the EESchema video where the circuit came from), but I haven’t watched that/those yet.
