Newbie is lost in the lib (Digikey files - What goes where?)

Would someone please point me to (SIMPLE) instructions for downloading & the correct placement of the Digikey files.

Here’s a good one from the friendly folks at Contextual Electronics. It’s from an older version of KiCad but still pretty much valid.
