New KiCad user here and first time poster

I plan on Migrating to KiCad May 1st and setting up an entire office based around the KiCad platform. I’d also like to find ways to make KiCad work with some IDEs like Code Composer Studio, MPLAB X, or Atmel Studio 7.

I am going to attend the KiCad Conference! I noticed there is a class on version control and collaboration that I will be attending. Does anyone else have tips on setting up an office environment? Is there anyone I should talk to at the conference?

Does anyone have suggestions for a first project? What is going on in the beginner workshop at the conference?
