Moving an imported SVG between layers

I imported an SVG onto a User.Drawing layer but I can see no way to move it between layers. Activating the properties of most things offers a layer selection Dropbox but not with the properties of graphics items.

I don’t want to cut and paste as I want the graphic to move layers in exactly the same place.

Any ideas ?

  1. Select your graphics. (It is probably a single “Group” in KiCad V6).
  2. Pcb Editor / Edit / Edit Track & Graphics Properties
  3. Select: Scope: PCB graphic items and Filters: Only include selected items
  4. Select: Action / set to specified values / Layer: … (enter your layer of choice)
  5. [OK]

many thanks , it would be useful to have it also in properties consistent with everything else
