Monospace font for text

Is it possible to use a monospace font when adding text in the schematic and PCB editor?

When one types in the text, the dialogue box shows the text in a monospace font, and one can align text nicely in a table, then once one clicks okay, it changes to a none monospace where its placed (on the page).

No. Text in schematic and layout use a “stroke” font, not any normal computer font technology. The characters are just graphic lines with thickness just like other graphics and tracks, unlike in normal fonts which are filled outlines made with bezier curves etc. and use special rendering engines to be drawn to display or print.

Ok I understand its not a ttf or otf. What do you thing of having two options, monostroke or normal. A Monospace stroke font could be created.
