After upgrading to V7 my local library did not migrate. Symbols are now located in the name of the schematic file followed by “rescue”, i.e. MotorControl-rescue is the name of the repository for the symbol. Why didn’t V7 just import the old library I created as a new local library?

Don’t worry, it’s still there, but V7 just can’t find it.
You’ll need to use the “Add library” function to get it back.
Why V7 is unable to do this simple task is also a mystery to me.
