Missing footprints in CvPCB on new OS x install

Pardon my ignorance as a new guy…

I installed KiCad and the extras from the dmg as instructed in the readme. Copied the fb-lib-table file as instructed.

Yet when I run Cvpcb, I get no footprints at all…

I’m at a total loss as where to begin.

Pointers?

Open the footprint editor from the KiCAD main tool, then there go to the footprint browser… anything in there?

BTW, in CvPCB… there are filters that will ‘preselect’ footprints (or cause to show none at all). Did you play with those yet?
