Hi there, I am currently self-compiling / building Kicad version 8 from source and that part is working as expected, But I have problems to find the footprint libraries, do I miss some environment variables?

Nevermind. I could solve this on my own. I had to download the footprints library and adjusting the path, now it is running as expected .
