Misaligned gerber files

I have gerber files generated by a different PCB software. There must have been an offset on the CAM outputs because some layers import into GerbView aligned, and others are imported offset.
Is there a way to realign the layers in GerbView?

I would not be so fast to make that assumption.
As far as I know GerbView is just a viewer and can not edit files.

It is probably a good idea to try a few different gerber viewers to view your files. There are a bunch hof them on the 'net.
Some can even edit gerber files, but these probably are not free.

gerbv http://gerbv.geda-project.org/ can realign layers.
It is a Linux/Unix app, I’m not sure if it runs on windows.

Not currently - some gerber viewers allow offsets per layer, but not the kiCad one.
I guess the kiCad viewer mainly loads KiCad gerbers, so knows how to align them all correctly.
Other CAD packages have options like centre, or margin plot choices, which I’ve always thought was just a way to guarantee downstream problems !! (as those vary with layer content!)

A commercial Gerber Viewer is here

I didn’t know of that viewer. Thank you for the reply.
