Hi, I have a question, I use a footprint: “Connector_PinSocket_2.54mm:PinSocket_2x04_P2.54mm_Vertical”.
Why is it not possible to mirror this?

Because usually mirroring a footprint will break your design.
Real world parts can’t be mirrored unless they can be soldered upside down.
I have to adapt the footprint to the component, that has nothing to do with soldering it the wrong way round.
I think what you may be looking for is flipping this through-hole part in the PCB layout. In the footprint editor, pin 1 on this PinSocket_2x04_P2.54mm_Vertical is in the top left, matching the physical pin header insertion from the top side on the PCB. Mirroring it in the footprint editor would cause pin 1 not to line up with pin 1 of the part.
However, you may have a pin header with a non-standard pin order. In which case, you should create a separate footprint that is mirrored. (Maybe this is what you are trying to do?)
In that case you should edit the footprint in the footprint editor to match your physical component.
