After having used KiCad since versions 5 something very unpleasant happened yesterday.
On my machine I have version 5, 6 and 7 installed.
Version 5 and 6 are in active use.
Since yesterday, drop down menus in all Kicad sub programs except Gerbviewer is not working correctly.
The menus either refuse to “fall down” or gets populated with invisible text.
If they unfolds, the menus do work but since the text can not be read it is impossible to actually use them. The menus in version 7 are also behaving like the menus in version 6 but menus in version 5 are unaffected.
Background information:
The machine is upgraded to Windows 11 since ~2 weeks.
Yesterday I installed/upgraded Picoscope to version 7. If this is related is unknown but it was done during the same day as I noted the misbehaviour of the menues.
Attempts to fix:
Several reboots
Reinstall Kicad version 6 (overwrite)
Unistall of Picoscope 7
Uninstall of KiCad version 6 and 7
Reinstall of Kicad version 6
Reinstall of Picoscope 7
