before I used to measure distance between center of pads , vias , traces and mechanical holes by starting rout trace, goes to center of a pad , the sticky mouse points on the center then press space to reset the relative X,Y the goes to other pad and precisely measure the distance .
today when I press the space key it does not reset the relative X,Y
this is very important for precise results . also it is very useful to have air gap measurement between pads and traces
can someone help ?
I noticed the same thing (that the spacebar doesn’t set the zero point) recently. It happened only under some circumstances, but I didn’t find out which. It’s a bug and if it’s not reported already, maybe you could do it? The best we can do is to find out a way to reproduce it and tell it in a bug report.
