Managed to delete my templates folder!

Sooo…moved some KiCad folders to share between 2 OS on the same computer and everything went well till I just decided to take a look at the templates option in KiCad and I have an empty folder :sweat_smile:

I grabbed the files from KiCad / KiCad Libraries / KiCad Templates · GitLab but it seems to be lacking meta date, or I have the file structure wrong (more likely)…any help fixing this?

The Meta stuff is simple:

Create a Folder named “meta” put it inside the Template folder
Put three files in the folder:

  1. your_template_name.png
  2. icon.png
  3. info.html (contents is only text with whatever you want)

Do some homework to learn how to set the Path to your User Template folder
