Macro Keypad with KiCad?

I’ve been toying with the idea of trying out a small macro keypad to use with KiCad. There are so many options, I’ll probably just get the one from Adafruit to start with and replace it down the road if needed.

Lest I reinvent the wheel, has anyone else done anything similar? Any public projects I could use as a starting point?
