Long delays on opening sch/pcb/symb/foot editors in v8.0

Hi,

I have just updated to v8, but now when I open any of the editors I get a 30s - 60s delay where the entire program just hangs, before the appropriate editor then opens happily. I don’t see any other delays, hangs, or jitters that could be performance issues.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Are you using a harddisk or SSD drive?

Everything is on a local SSD, and I don’t have any plugins or packages loaded. This hang happens on completely new, empty schematic files and pcbs.

I’ve tried varying the graphics settings, with no change.

Anti-virus? Mount on demand shares?
