Logo -> silk layer?

Hi,

I import a logo from a png, but it gets imported in the Edge Cuts layer

I found I could edit it with ‘E’, and change the layer

but I have many parts (letters) in that logo which makes it tedious to change one by one

can I bulk change the layer of a multiple selection ?

Do you import your png with the bitmap2component converter?
By default PNG is imported to Silkscreen layer.

yes I do

it’s not imported in the silk screen, silk screen is purple, the footprint appear yellow

since I keep resizing the import, It’s getting really tedious

If you have your logo in a vector graphics format (especially if it is in svg) then you can use inkscape with https://github.com/badgeek/svg2shenzhen extension.

What “import” function do you use?
How does it get “imported” into the wrong layer?

I would probably make a footprint out of your logo, and then first put the logo in that footprint on the right layer.
