Lists in Footprint Lib Browser not resizeable

Hi,

started after months to use kicad again.
When I try to assign a footprint the library browser pops up and shows 2 lists (to the left) with every
category and footprint.
When hover over the edge of a list the ‘drag arrow’ appears, but I’m not able to extend the list width.
Instead of “Connector_Hirose” I see only “Connector_Hi”.

I am assuming you mean the tool found via footprint editor -> view -> library browser

I can resize it under ubuntu 16.04. (Both in nightly and 5.0.2)

It seems to be a bit tricky at times to get the mouse in the right position for it to work. It seems the mouse pointer is changed to the drag symbol in a slightly larger area than the one where you can really drag the boarder. (For me this might be influenced because i run under a virtual machine and kicad is a bit slow to react in it. Meaning my analysis might be a bit different then what somebody gets when running kicad directly on the PC.)

yes it is indeed this tool.
I tried to drag on several corners and edges but nothing happens.
