Line width for individual layer

KiCad 5.1.2.

I wonted to set line width to be used when drawing at Dwgs.User.
So in Edit|Edit Text & Graphic Properties I set:

Properties
Properties763×631 24 KB

and then pressing OK button has no effect.

  1. no change in already drawn lines,
  2. no change in lines in selected block,
  3. no change width used with next drawing.

Do that does some other function then my assumed 1,2,3 or it just not works?

I found that I can change defaults - but there are many layers under ‘Other layers’ and it would be nicely to set line width for them separatelly. Is it possible?

I had to fuss around a bit the first time this window was introduced.

At the moment, it appears that the “Scope” has no “scope”.

What happens when you check the “PCB graphic items” check box?

Thanks. I will look (and check) more carefully.
The higher level of interrupt I am working on the faster and less attentional my actions are :slight_smile:
I didn’t read the whole window - I just sow at the part I suppose is selected so others not important. As way around I have used defaults and didn’t look here once more.
My plans which PCB will be first in KiCad changed 3 times - each time it is to be done “for yesterday” and each time I work with more hurry as more PCBs wait to be done.
