Addit : Tried -40-, and the dots issues fix looks to have not made it into that build.

Yes, looks improved. That’s fixed a regression 
Saves ok from R12,R14.R2007, but loading into KiCad R14 & R2007 are ok, but R12 drops ARCS,
R12 loads fine into LibreCAD and DoubleCAD, so the ARC info is clearly present.
Addit: All 3 variants import ok (ARC & Circle intact) into PADS File.Import and Decal.Import, LineWidth 0.0254mm

How about QCAD? any experience with it?
QCAD is related to LibreCad and rather dormant now.
LibreCad (2D) and FreeCad (3D) are the most active and their developers are responsive to KiCad problems
Sorry, that comes from not checking the suppliers own website.
