As a newbie to Kicad I found while playing with the layers and their visibility that one can hide nearly everything but in which layer are the yellow circles of the pads in footprints?
(like in this screenshot). All layers are invisible, just some violet crosses, yellow circles and the drawing frame cannot be hidden. Just would like to understand the logic behind it.
Violet crosses are anchors and yellow circles are the borders of the holes in through hole footprints. Both can be turned on and off in the “Objects” tab, next to the “Layers” tab.
There is also the “Nets” tab alongside the other two that is worth exploring.
