I can’t launch Kicost. I have installed Python, Kicost and GIT. I have loaded a BOM from Kicad but then I don’t know what to do. I’m stuck when I need to use the command “kicost -i schem.xml” but nothing happens.
Please help me, I couldn’t find another topic.
I also have a few questions.
Is it possible to use files other than .xml?
Is it possible to use Kicost other than with the command?
Is it possible to run Kicost by itself?

There is quite a lot of documentation here and a video run though on YouTube here and bug reports and the code repo are here. It’s an add on project outside of the main KiCad package so you may get better support there. I note that there is a workaround offered for the generation of an xml file by exporting a legacy BOM - details can be found if you read through the bug report link above.
