KiCad8 - StepUp not working [solved]

Just noticed that KiCad stepup cannot open KiCad8 designs. Any workaround?

Not much help but I am sure I opened a kicad 8 design today. Can’t check as not at work but pretty sure it was.

Works for me. Just installed FC 21.2 and kicadStepUp from its Addon manager. Do you have an example project which it doesn’t open?

EDIT: wait… I had an pre-8 RC of KiCad. Have to update.

Working fine on Windows for me. You need to be on FC21.1 and maybe uninstall and reinstall the plugin

I was already on FC21.2, but forgot to check Plugin update (was 01.2024 but there was an update available). After updating the Plugin, I can now open my KC8 boards.
