Kicad to autocad software

goodmorning …can i open kicad’s pcb projects with autocad software …

You could try SVG or STEP export, and then load that ?

You can also plot DXF, Postscript, PDF, HPGL, and try those. Depends on what info you try to pass.

I assume you want to have a 2d sketch in autocad (for 3d simply export step from kicad version 5 directly or via stepup and freecad)

If you only want to have the board outline in autocad then the dxf plot features should be enough.

If you want more flexibility then stepup (freecad) is the better option. (import the pcb including the combonents into freecad via stepup, select the features you want to appear in autocad and create a 2d sketch from it. export that 2d sketch as dxf. Import that dxf into autocad)
