KiCAD Open Ventilator System

Hello Ferdy and everyone. Thank you for this gigantic effort everyone is doing to make this possible.

I am a mexican manager form a company that has also built a prototype for the ventilator.

One of our main challenges is to escalate the production with the high cost of the display assembly and we found this amazing forum by looking for alternatives. We found the pcb alternative for the driver but no code for the FPGA.

How can we help? We have the CAD files for the original turbine assembly, the PCB for the internal battery and we can share what we have and are willing completely to help.

Let us know if we can find something for the FPGA and what can we give to help this project, thank you very much everyone!

Yes, someone in the group is working on it. The FPGA board has already been printed and they are tuning the firmware.

Me alegro mucho!

Sure, that sounds nice. The guy working on the FPGA posts his updates on our Slack channel, I think he did not commit yet the code to the repository. If you send me a PM with your e-mail account, I can add you to Slack so that you can get in touch with him.

Ferdy Thank you very much, for some reason I am not able to send you a PM, should I write my email here or is there another way for me to contact you? Thank you very much again!

I’m the FPGA guy you are talking about. I’ll push the code as soon as I’ll have it verified with the real hardware.
